Essilor wants to put lenses and optics back at the heart of the customer’s experience at the optician’s.

Okoni is assisting Essilor in the design of lens demonstration devices from field immersion to the in-store manufacture of devices.

The assignment calls in the full panoply of the agency’s skills: ethnography, design, electronics, scenography, qualitative testing.

Experimental devices are currently being tested in the United States.

Results

• Five prototypes have been designed and produced.
• 600 copies of one prototype have been manufactured and distributed worldwide.
